Volunteer FAQ
HOW CAN I START SERVING?
Thank you for your interest in being part of the Hope Community team! Please use the button above to fill out a ministry application. We ask that you would attend HCC regularly for three months before beginning to serve. This not only helps you know that Hope is your church home, but also allows us time to get to know you. It may be possible to start shadowing a team leader or member before that time, depending on the ministry you are interested in.
HOW OFTEN CAN I SERVE?
Each Team operates on a rotation dependent on the immediate needs. We want to help you to serve as often as you can and will discuss your availability along with Team needs during one of your application processing meetings.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPLY?
After you apply, your application will be reviewed and processed. You will hear from us regarding details and training. Some teams will require a background check and additional interview processes before training can be scheduled. Once you have completed training you will be scheduled to serve!
